Tony Hettler

John L Scott Des Moines and John L Scott Des Burien

When it comes to success in any arena or endeavor, the first thing to determine is whether or not those you are associating with are team players. One of the many traits that Tony Hettler has learned and embraced during his formative years was the importance of team work. From participating in sports through his career in the Army Security Agency in the early 70’s, he has molded the concept of team work into all corners of his life.

As graduate of the Albers School of Business at Seattle University, with a degree in Marketing, Tony brings fresh and new ideas to the marketplace. He began his successful sales career with Spider Staging Scaffolding in 1979 and held positions as a salesperson, Branch Manger, Regional Sales Manager and Vice President Sales and Marketing. Tony continued his successful sales career when he entered real estate in 1989 with John L. Scott. He became an Associate Broker in 1999 and his production in closed transactions resulted in him being recognized and included in the John L. Scott “Presidents Club: for many years.  In 2006 he wanted to resume his career in management and training so he purchased the John L. Scott's office in Des Moines in 2006 and the JLS office in Burien in 2008 from the John L. Scott Corp.

Tony has been active in coaching youth sports for over 40 years. He has coached baseball for South Highline Little League, Burien Pony League, and American Legion and for 5 years at Evergreen High School. In addition to baseball, he coached basketball for the Boy’s and Girl’s Clubs in California and Southwest King County, as well as the Des Moines Rec League. The skills he has learned and developed from coaching over these 40 plus years have been a valuable asset to not only his career but also to those he has coached and trained in the business world.

Along with his fellow brokers at John L. Scott Des Moines and Burien, they support many local activities and charities, such as the Ronald McDonald’s House, and work diligently for the success of the community and the local businesses.

Tony Hettler and his family have been residents in
the Normandy Park area for 23 years and enjoy the all that Southwest King County has to offer its residences.
